Acer Delay Android ICS Update for Iconia Tab A500 and A100 Until April 27th

Acer was already announce some part of it’s Ice Cream Sandwich update plan few weeks ago. They were noted that both Iconia Tab A500 and A100 will receive the new OS update on mid-April. However, we’ve a bad news here. The update won’t come right on schedule because it’s already been delayed.

Acer Android 4.0 Update Schedule

According to the company’s official statement, the Android 4.0 update for those tablet will start to roll out on April 27th in US. If you’re happen to live in Canada, similar update will be released on the same day, while the A100 will have to wait for it’s turn on May 3rd.

However, it is strange that Acer doesn’t plan to bring the Ice Cream Sandwich update to A510 tablet. In terms of specs, the tablet share similar configuration to Acer Iconia Tab A500, except for the fact that A510 is only support for 3G connectivity.
