Transformer TF101 OTA Update Released to Fix Bugs on Previous ICS Update

Transformer TF101 OTA Update is now available. This time, it won’t bring the new version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but meant to fix some problems that exist in the previous Android 4.0 update. As you might already aware of, the Asus Transformer TF101 was receive an official ICS update two weeks ago. Sadly, the A new OS don’t work as smooth as expected. Some users report that they experience forced reboot, few times after installing the new update.

If you’re happen to own the tablet, you can check the Transformer TF101 OTA Update manually by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Software update and tap on the Check Now. The tablet will automatically begin the search process and soon inform you if the update has already reach yours.

Although this new Transformer TF101 OTA Update is meant to fix some problems that exist in the previous Android 4.0 ICS update, Asustek doesn’t come out with any change log. That is quite disappointing though, but we hope that this new release will be able to fix those force reboot problem since we are also experience the same on our own Transformer TF101.
