One of the main attraction from an iPhone 4S lies on it’s Siri app. This digital voice assistant has manage to dazzled millions of it’s users around the world. In contrast, Motorola seems quite confident with the Android’s Voice Actions, which is currently compatible with some of it’s handsets. The company is recently released three different video that compare these two voice assistant apps on it’s official YouTube page.

The first video show how’s Siri and Android Voice Assistant on Motorola Atrix 4G compete against each other to perform three voice-activated tasks.

Meanwhile, the second video shows that Siri is currently lost against the same apps on Motorola Photon 4G and Motorola Electrify. Both of these Motorola phones were released on 2011.

Finally, Siri also suffer it’s third lose from the new Motorola Droid RAZR. Once again, the Android Voice Actions is manage to perform faster than the iPhone 4S’ Siri.

How’s this possible? First, let us explain the situation. Both Siri and Android Voice command require an active Internet connection to initiate user’s voice command. Christian Zibreg from 9to5Mac believed that those videos are currently highlight the fact that most of Motorola handsets are already work on the 4G network, while Apple iPhone 4S is only support for 3G.

Danielle McNally, Motorola spokesperson, noted that the ads is intended to highlight few positive things. First, the speed. As you can see, the 4G network perform quite faster than most of 3G network. It can render web page quickly and provide users with turn by turn direction. McNally also noted that the Android Voice Action app is available in all Android handsets, starts from Android 2.2 Froyo to the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In contrast, Siri is exclusively available on iPhone 4S.

But, Siri also has it’s own advantage. The apps can recognize wider range of voice commands, For example, you can say “Send text to Adam, i’ll be late” or “Tell Adam that I’ll be late” and Siri will recognize both of these commands. On the other hand, Android Voice Command only able to recognize specific words and you must stuck with that static command. Not forget to mention that Siri is also capable of speaking in four different languages.

It’s interesting to see how’s this voice assistant apps battle continues. Few months ago, Google confirmed the fact that they’re currently develop a dedicated voice assistant for Android. Rumors spread around the web that it will be code named as Majel, which is inspired by the computer voice at the famous sci-fi TV series, Star Trek.
