Motoluxe and Pro+ are Being Evaluated to Receive Android ICS Update
Motoluxe and Pro+, both manufactured by Motorola, will soon receive Android 4.0 ICS update. Back on last month, the Canada based company was already released a list of it’s handsets that scheduled to receive Android 4.0 update this year. Both Motoluxe and Pro+ were not included on that list, but it seems like Motorola has already change their mind now.
The company is recently updated the list and as you read below, both Motoluxe and Pro+ are now listed there, although they’re still in “evaluating and planning” phase. Motorola also noted that products that enter that stage might not complete the upgrade cycle. This is mean that the company is not guarantee that Android 4.0 will arrive for them. But it is great to see that Motorola still have some consideration about it.
On the other hand, there’s no other major changes in Motorola’s plan. Droid RAZR is still scheduled to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich on the second quarter of this year, while the Defy Mini, Defy+, Milestone 2 will be abandoned with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Are you happen to own Motoluxe and Pro+? Then you should be happy by now, knowing that there’s still a ray of hope for Android ICS update. Since there’s no specific release date revealed on Motorola’s plan, we suggest you to stay tune on our website because we might come back really soon with a new update about Android 4.0 update for Motoluxe and Pro+.
