How to Enable Beats Audio in HTC Sensation XE without Special Headphones

Both of us know that HTC Sensation (both XE, XL, and the original version) are great music smartphone that packed with the amazing sound quality from Dr Dre’s Beats Audio technology. Sadly, in order to activate this feature, you must play your music file directly from the HTC Music player. Not to mention that it is only enabled when you plug in a dedicated Beats Audio headset. Now, what if you can activate this feature without those prerequisites? Wouldn’t that be cool? Off course it is! Today, we will teach you how to do that folks!

Before we get started, make sure that you have done these following things. First, create a full backup of all your important file, including contacts, sms, apps, settings, and data. Second, charge your handset up to 80% or above, this is important to keep the device turned on during the installation process. Finally, root your HTC Sensation XE and install it with ClockworkMod Recovery. When you’re done with all these stuffs, we can start the tutorial right away.

1. Grab the System Wide Beats Audio package to your computer
2. Now, plug in your handset into the computer and move that .zip file to your SD card
3. Remove your handset and turn it off
4. Boot to Recovery Mode. You can search how to do this on the Internet. It is so easy, there should be lot of entry that lead you to the right answer
5. Once you already reach recovery mode, select Install zip from SD card, continue with Choose zip from SD card, and select the Beats Audio .zip file that you’ve already copied on the second step
6. Wait until the process finish, go back to main menu, and select Reboot System Now

Congratulations! you’ve just enable Beats Audio equalizer in all audio aspects in your HTC Sensation XE! Now you can enjoy those great music quality without HTC Music player or Beats Audio headset.
