Galaxy Note gets update. Is it Android Ice Cream sandwich 4.0?
Galaxy Note gets update! Is it true? Well, since it’s debut, this 5.3 inch smartphone has already set a buzzer among android enthusiast. No wonder why Samsung promised that the ICS update for Galaxy Note will arrive at the end of Q1 2012.
While in the mean time, the Android 4.0 ICS Update has already start to roll out for Samsung Galaxy S II few days ago. Anyone who’re happen to own the handset and live in South Korea or Europe can immediately grab the new OS update and experience all the ICS goodies on their handset. Then what about Galaxy Note? Samsung only explain that the ICS will arrive for the handset “soon”. So, it is now clear that the update won’t arrive at the end of Q1 2012. However, it might be coming really soon, as the international version of Galaxy Note gets update in form of a new firmware.
This new firmware is dubbed as XXLB2 and sized at 40MB only. According to Android Central, this new firmware is able to fix several errors that were found on the video editing app. It also bring new cellular radio. Initial report suggest that there will be no stuttering artifacts on the video that edited using Galaxy Note‘s video editor app.
