Archos is recently release their latest android tablet called as ChildPad. Judging by it’s name, you should instantly notice that this device is aimed for infants or under age users. Packed with 7 inch display, ChildPad run on the Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is highly customized with colorful interface and kid-related apps. Archos also packed ChildPad withs some pre-installed games like Angry Birds, Pig Rush, and Flight Frenzy. Just like any other tablet for kids, ChildPad also has it’s own parental control system, which will be useful to avoid children from exposed by inappropriate contents during their Internet activities.
The company doesn’t explain anything about ChildPad‘s rugged chassis. But we can tell you from the press release image (you can see it below) that it looks like that the tablet is not packed with any additional protective chassis to survive against child abuse. Well, at least you can grab it for cheap price. Archos is currently offer this tablet for $129 only. It will be powered by a 1GHz CPU and 1GB RAM. We have no idea how much data storage that ChildPad is currently carry on, but we are quite sure that this device has a microSD card slot.
