Alcatel might doesn’t posses significant amount of market share in the mobile phone industry in the past years, but the manufacturer comes out with up to nine different Android handsets at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. First, we’ve got Alcatel OneTouch Smart 916. This handset is powered by a 600MHz processors and posses 2.6 inch screen with QVGA resolution. It is currently run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There’s a 3.0 megapixels primary camera unit on the back. The rest of it’s technical details include optical finger navigation, HD Voice, hotspot, WiFi, and dual-sIM card slot.
Another handset from Alcatel is called as OneTouch 991 Play. Same as it’s sibling, this one is also a dual-SIM phone. In term of display, this handset packed with 4.0 inch screen with HVGA resolution. It will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There’s 3.0 megapixels rear shutter and VGA web camera for video call purpose. It also has such features like proximity sensors and HD Voice.
Alcatel OneTouch Mix 918 is the third new android handset from the company. It sports 3.2 inch touch screen with HVGA resolution. This device run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and powered by 650MHz processors. The rest of it’s technical details include HD Voice, 3.2 MP rear shutter, WiFi hotspot, android apps, and dual-SIM card.
On the other hand, Alcatel OneTouch Smart 918 is carry on 3.2″ HVGA screen, 650MHz processors, and 3.2 megapixels rear shutter. It run on Android 2.3 Gingebread. This phone also posses WiFi hotspot and dual-SIM card slot.
Next, we have the Alcatel OneTouch Glam 810. This handset posses 2.0 megapixels rear shutter. It also support for Facebook, Twitter, and push mail. No need to worry for low data space since this handset has microSD card slot that can read up to 16GB external memory card. The rest of it’s main features include Bluetooth 2.1, music player, stereoFM, and dual-SIM card.
Alcatel also release the OneTouch Smart 980f. This handset posses a dedicated Facebook keys that allow users to access Facebook web page within second. It also has 2.8 inch screen with QVGA resolution. Run on the Android 2.2 Froyo, this device also support for WiFi and 3G connectivity. The rest of it’s technical details include 32GB microSD card slot and dual-SIM card.
Alcatel OneTouch Smart 993 is currently powered by a single-core processors that clocked at 1GHz. It sports 4.0 inch screen with WVGA resolution. According to company’s representative, there will be an Android 4.0 update for this handset anytime around this year. There’s also 5.0 megapixels primary camera unit on the back side, as well as front-facing web camera. In term of connectivity, this handset support for DLNA and dual-SIM card.
Next, we’ve got a mid-range Android handset dubbed as Alcatel OneTouch Smart 985. This handset run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is powered by 600MHz processors and sports 3.5 inch screen with HVGA resolution. There’s 3.0 megapixels rear shutter with LED flashlight. This dual-SIM phone is support for Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
Finally, the latest handset from Alcatel is currently dubbed as OneTouch Ultra 995, Considered as the competitor for Samsung Galaxy S II, this handset packed with 4.3 inch WVGA touch screen and 1.4GHz dual-core processors. It also has 3D interface, alongside with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There’s 5.0 megapixels HD camera on the back and VGA camera on the front.
