Samsung Announce Projector Android Phone, Galaxy Beam and Galaxy Tab 2

Unlike HTC and LG, Samsung doesn’t bring any high-end android smartphone or tablet at their MWC campaign this year. Thankfully, the Korean giant still have some interesting stuffs in their inventory to entertain us.

After officially announce the Galaxy Ace 2 and Mini 2, Samsung is proudly present the new Samsung Galaxy Beam and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Beam is an android smartphone that feature a built-in projector. Few months ago, Samsung already come out with similar products and guess what, with an exact similar name. We have no idea why the company decided not to change the name for the new mode, but we guess that the previous build was failed miserably.

However, the new Galaxy Beam feature 4.0 inch screen size with 480 x 800 resolution and TFT display technology, 1.0 GHz dual-core processors, 6GB RAM and 8GB internal data storafe. It is currently run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. When it comes to power, Galaxy Beam will be packed with 2000mAh battery unit.

The new Samsung Galaxy Beam is packed with 15 lumens internal projector. It is able to displayed up to 50 inch wide view with 720p resolution.

On the same occasion, Samsung is also reported to come out with Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. There’s no technical details revealed, but it said that this new tablet will carry on similar hardware specs to it’s predecessor. The only difference is that Galaxy Tab 2 will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and posses microSD card slot for data expansion purpose.
