When it was released for the first time few months ago, the Acer Iconia Tab A200 was run on the tablet-optimized Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Now, Acer has release an official Android 4.0 ICS update for the tablet. For your information, this is not the first time for an Android table to receive the new Android 4.0 update. Previously, Motorola has issued similar update for it’s Xoom series tablet.
The update is currently available over the air, so there’s no need to prepare your USB cable and desktop computer to install the new OS. The Iconia Tab A200 will come out with a specific notifications about the availability of the new update. Whenever, you this warning, all you have to do is press the Download button and the installation process will start soon.
Anyone who haven’t receive the notification can check them manually by navigate through Menu > Settings > About > System Update > Check Now.
