If you’re happen to own Acer’s three latest tablets that has been available in the market, this is your lucky day. The Taiwanese company has officially confirmed the new Android 4.0 ICS update for those tablets.
US owners of Acer Iconia Tab A200 should be able to taste the Ice Cream Sandwich in their tablet, starts from next week. There’s no need to prepare USB cable or desktop computer since the update will be available Over The Air (OTA). On the other hand, similar OS update for 7″ Acer Iconia Tab A100 and 10″ Acer Iconia Tab A500 will start to roll out in April.
Paul Tayar, director of Product Marketing Connected Devices for Acer America, said that the new Android 4.0 update will be a great addition to the Iconia Tabs’ sleek, powerful, and well-designed chassis, which will provide consumers with premium products experience.
Meanwhile, other tablet from Acer, the Iconia Tab A700 will feature Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processors. Same CPU is also implemented in the Iconia Tab A510. Unlike their predecessors, both of these tablets will feature Android 4.0 ICS out of the box.
