ViewPad 10e Available on Amazon for $399 Without ICS

ViewPad 10e from Viewsonic was spotted in the wild for the first time on October last year. But we haven’t hear anything about it ever since, until now. However, unlike the usual products from Viewsonic, this one is not pocket-friendly. Today, ViewPad 10e is spotted on Amazon, carry on the hefty $399 price tag.

You can’t blame them tough, since Viewsonic packed this tablet with pretty decent hardware. ViewPad e10 sports 9.7 inch IPS screen with 1026 x 768 pixels resolution. It is powered with a single core 1.0 GHz processor, alongside with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal data storage. There’s some useful ports like microUSB, microSD, and HDMI. But considering the fact that this device will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, not the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, $399 price tag sounds ridiculous.

Add little bit amount of money and you can own the quad-core Asus Transformer Prime tablet. Or you might want to pick the Asus MeMO. This tablet is packed with Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU and Ice Cream Sandwich, but it is only priced at $249.

Back to ViewPad e10, this tablet is now available for pre-order on Amazon but we are sure that there won’t be any major change on it’s price tag.
