A breaking news came from the Spice (S Mobility), due to their action, slashed prices of its entry level smartphone — Mi-270. The dual SIM touchscreen Android phone is now available for just Rs 3,399.
The handset was launched last year in June at entry price of RS 5,700 and at that time it was the cheaphest Android smartphone in the market. But soon after its launch, many handset makers have come out with their own entry level Android smartphones in India, such as the MTS MTag, Karbonn A1, Micromax A70 etc.
Spice seems to have reduced the price of its phone as there many quite but not better smartphones available in the market for sub-RS 10,000. Last week itself, Spice had released an Android mobile phone Mi280 at a price of RM 5,123.
Spice M270 has a 7.1 cm (2.8 inch) resistive touchscreen, runs Android Froyo operating system and it is powered by 600 MHz Mediatek processor. It is a dual SIM handset with 2 megapixel camera. It also comes with an expandable memory up to 16 Gb, a micro USB port in-build GPS & Bluetooth. The handset is available online at Saholic website.tags: Android, Entry Level Smartphone, MI-270, Spice
