Dell Ended Streak 7 Android Tablet Selling In US

The company also officially announce that they will stop to sell the device in US, but still continue the marketing attempt in other region.
According to VentureBeat, Dell decided to end the Streak 7 lifetime in order to focus on the attempt to offer new products in mobile technology. Back on August, Dell was did the same thing to their 5 inch 3G tablet, Streak 5. The main reason is because the product has very poor demand and sales.
The company is currently aim for China, which is considered as potential market for mobile device. Dell was set up a partnership with China’s largest search engine, Baidu, to create some android tablet and smartphone. Dell hopes that this deal will be good enough for them to challenge Lenovo, which is already well-known in the local market.
Electronista also reported that Dell alter their policy and decided to develop windows based tablet. Sadly, you won’t see new tablet from them until next year. For the rest of 2011, it seems like Dell will remain silent on the tablet device business.
