Nabi, World First Android Tablet for Kid
Back on November 21, a company from US named Fuhu launched their latest tablet device called Nabi. The tablet is run on Android platform and claimed to be the world first tablet that is specially segmented for kids.
Nabi feature a 1.1 GHz X2 dual-core processors, front facing camera and capable of playback a 1080p full HD video. Some kid segmented apps are also built-in already. Fuhu claimed that those apps, which include music, games, and books, are worth up to $150.
Aside from it’s gaming function, Nabi is also capable to act as an educational device with it’s e-reader and “basic math learning” application. Users can download those application on the Nabi store, which is equal to Android market for regular tablet device. This tablet has “mommy mode” that allow adult user to browse restricted website address.
According to Robb Fujioka, the president and founder of Fuhu, Nabi tablet is a tablet that has full feature such as touchscreen, WiFi, app store, gaming, and movies. The only thing that make this tablet different is that it is specially designed for kids.
If you’re interested to buy Nabi for your kids or family, pre-order session already start at Toys r Us. It will cost you $199.99 and will start to ship on December 1. Unfortunately, this tablet is only available in US and US territories.
