FH16 750, Volvo Trucks New Smartphone Game

Volvo Trucks release their new smartphone and tablet game, FH16 750. In this new game, you’ll be driving new Volvo FH16 truck with 750 horsepower in order to avoid some obstacle that come in your way.

Niclas Hermansson, Digital Marketing Strategist at Volvo Trucks, said that this game is release as the celebration of 25th anniversary of Volvo trucks. The Company hope that this new game will bring some new exciting entertainment for all truck enthusiast.

The main goal from this game is to eliminate all of obstacles that appear in front of your truck. In order to get the job done, you’ll have to do some gesture such as tapping, linear dragging, or circular dragging. If you make correct move and decision, you’ll gain enough point to proceed to the next level.

Hermansson added that this game will be easy to learned but hard to mastered. He also stated that players are able to upload their highest score to their facebook or twitter account. Furthermore, there’s also a contest on Worldtrucker, volvo online truck community, where weekly prize are awarded.

This game is available to download at Android market or Apple Apps Store. FH16 750 feature nine different tracks, which is getting harder each time. The game also inform some fact about Volvo’s FH16 750. This is the second time that Volvo use digital game for their marketing tools. Back in the 2009, the company was launch “strongesttruck.com” during the release of Volvo FH16-700. This was a big success and still attract some visitors, so far it’s been played 15 million times already.
