Airplay is one of the iTunes’ features that is rarely used. Well, even though it is a cool feature (imagine that you can stream your favorite music to a compatible receiver or speakers), it is quite hard for most folks to have compatible receiver, since the Airplay mostly won’t support devices not created by Apple.

Fortunately, if you have an Android device and love iTunes, you can turn any receiver or speakers into Airplay compatible receiver that can stream audio from iTunes to practically anywhere in your house. Well, first of all, you need to have a receiver or stereo with an auxiliary input and a 3.5mm aux input cable. I believe you won’t find any difficulty on finding something like that.

Second, you need to download an app named AirBubble that will act as your receiving program on your Android device. There are free version and paid version of AirBubble. Unfortunately, the free version only gives you a free 30 minutes play time. So, practically, it is only a demo, but it will be enough if you only want to experiment with the Airplay. Well, otherwise, you have to upgrade it to the full version for $1.99.

Third, open iTunes on your computer and connect it to the same wifi network as your Android device. Go ahead and sync your Android device and the iTunes on your computer. Don’t forget to connect the aux cable from your speakers to your Android device’s headphone jack and set your speakers’ source to Aux.

Once the cable is connected and the AirBubble has synced up with the iTunes, you can choose your favorite song and click play to hear your music streaming from your set of speakers. It’s as simple as that.
