Rogers’ HTC Evo 3D will have Unlocked Bootloader

Good news everyone, especially to those who love customizing their HTC Evo 3D. It is because a Canadian telecom, Rogers, has confirmed that the HTC Evo 3D that will be released by Rogers will have an unlocked bootloader. It is quite amusing, right? With this, the Canadian consumers of HTC Evo 3D will be able to keep their devices up to date and keep their paces up with the Android devices in the U.S.

It has to be noted that Rogers is an offender when it comes to releasing phones months after they are released in the U.S. and (worse) not providing the updates to follow the paces. Well, it seems that the Canadian telecoms have bad reputations about the updates of their Android devices. They even preferred giving free HTC Magic instead of paying HTC to brand an update of Android 1.6 for HTC Dream.
