Dell Peju: a Windows Tablet That will Hit Again the Tablet Market Dominated by Android and iOS
It has been quite a while since the tablet market was crowded by Windows tablets. Since the Android tablets and Apple Ipad that rule the tablet pc market, the Windows tablets really don’t have a chance at all, even though they were very popular about two years ago. It is such a sad thing, right? Especially for Windows lovers. Yet, it seems that Microsoft doesn’t want to give up at all and it starts to re-enter the tablet pc market with its upcoming Windows 8 OS running on some tablets. Well, since the Windows 8 OS hasn’t been released yet, we can only find an interesting Windows tablet running on Windows 7 OS.
The Windows tablet is manufactured by Dell and is named Dell Peju. There is also a video that reveals most of the Dell Peju’s specifications. Well, according to the video, the Dell Peju will come with a 10.1 inch display with 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution and scratch proof Carning Gorilla Glass. The chassis of the tablet will have a soft touch aluminium casing with a Dell logo at the center of it. It will also come with 2 USB ports, a mini VGA port, an HDMI port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. It is said that it will also come with 4 GB of RAM, 64 or 120 GB of storage capacity, a 5 MP camera on the rear and a 1.3 MP on the front. As for the brain, it seems that the Dell Peju will be powered by an Intel i5 processor. Unfortunately, the clock speed of the Intel i5 processor is not mentioned. Yet, it is still interesting, right? Since we all know how powerful the Intel i5 processor is, especially with a 4 GB RAM support.
A Windows tablet like this is quite rare in the market. This Dell Peju could be a refreshment for those who are bored with the Android or iOS tablets, especially if the Dell Peju strikes at the right moment.
