AT&T announced that it will release the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G in fall. The announcement came when AT&T hosted an event in New York City to preview its products, one of those is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G, for the upcoming holiday season. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G itself is the Playstation certified Android smartphone with a slide-out game controller. The non-4G version had been released in May by Verizon. Now the 4G version of it will come through AT&T

Well, being a 4G phone, it makes the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G has a download speed up to 21 Mbps. As for the Android version, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It makes it the second Android smartphone running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread from AT&T after the HTC Status Facebook Android smartphone.

As for the specs, it is still the same with its non-4G version. Unfortunately, the price information hasn’t been announced yet by AT&T. So, we just need to wait a little longer to know it and maybe to get your hands on it too if you want.
