After a pair of Android 2.3.3 builds was leaked for the Samsung Captivate on AT&T, the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G has received the same build of Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The new build has also been rooted. With the rooted version of the new Android 2.3.3 build, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G gets better battery life. According to the members of XDA’s developer forums, with some applications removed, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G gets 50 percent better battery life.
