Tough Android phone from Casio : Casio g’Zone Commando

The Casio Commando hits Verizon on Thursday for US$200 with two-year contract. This device marked as the first g’Zone touchscreen smartphone.
The Commando will run Android 2.2 Froyo. It has 3.6-inch display.

What can we get from this “military device”? The military toughness seen from its endurance. This device can survive from extreme condition (-25 degree Celsius and 85 degrees Celsius high temperature), four-foot drops, six hour heavy dust, 30 minutes endurance from liquid immersion and 24 hours of salt water spray. Casio also give pre-installed apps, including compass, walking counter, tidal information and trip memory.

It has 8GB pre-loaded microSD card and 1GB internal storage, 5-megapixel camera. But still no information about the specifications.
